Ok, so for some that's not quite the simple question it seems. I mean, come on, who can limit it to three?!? After some real hard thinking (read drinking) on the subject, I believe I have my three. (I told you I was a beer snob.) Chimay Gran Reserve (Blue) North Coast Brewing Company's Red Seal Ale The Elysian Brewing Company's Ambrosias Maibock Please write what your three favorite are in the comments section. I have to know what's good out there before I try to taste it all. Oh Shit, I almost forgot Mac & Jacks African Amber Ale. How could I be so careless. Ok, so my four favorite beers. (Note: Mac & Jacks doesn' t have a website, but I put the link to directions to their brewery curtesy of the Washington Brewers Guild.) |
| Reed October 16, 2003 08:59 PM PDT Ok. I think your right Micah, there is no way to pick just 3 of my favorite Beers. Impposible. So in as best order my favorite. Welsh Ale. its hard to find a bottle and even harder to find on tap. but its exelent high alc. content mellow rich flavor and good body but as I say damn hard to find. as a standard drinking ale I like Mac and Jacks for the opposite reason its easy to find (in Washington) thank god I live here. Its got a realy good flavor odd but Im going to say it has a subtle sour flavor that I realy enjoy. yummy totaly drinkable and slightly sweet. Chimay Red lable. yup a mellow Belgian ale . yum. Like it a lot have it at get this ( the Vouge nightclub) yup for a while they stocked the red label there just for me 9 bottles a month. great all round. but a little expensive. hey if nothing else im practical. cool beer out. | ||
| dustin September 23, 2003 07:23 PM PDT guiness close to dublin (NYC will do if you can find the right pub) I prefer Glasgow or Ayr Green Chile beer (found in NM) I like the stuff put out at the local Taos brewery, don't mock me. Lately i've been drinking Negro Modello and Sam Adams Octoberfest. I drink the Octoberfest every year, and the Modelo cooks into stuff really well. | ||

| Mike Bonkowski September 14, 2003 10:32 AM PDT My three favorite beers? Hmmmm, that is really hard. Rogues Brutal Bitter has to bu up near the top. Then I guess I would have to go with the Siletz Breweries Spruce Tip Ale because it is so unique. Now for a third ,,,, about 16 are comming to mind that I like for various reasons so I will generally just have to say a good bitter ale. | ||
| Stephen Hopkins September 12, 2003 10:21 PM PDT I would say favorite right now are North Coast - Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout Leavenworth Brewery- Bling pig Dunkleweizen Duvel - Belguim | ||
| Name Alec McDougall September 12, 2003 06:28 PM PDT My three favorites are McEwans, The Skagit Brewery's Octoberfest, and also the Skagit Brewery's High Water Porter. | ||
